Hintergrund<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das CHU Ambroise Par\u00e9 mit Sitz in Mons gilt als orthop\u00e4disches Referenzkrankenhaus in dieser s\u00fcdbelgischen Region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Klinik wurde vor kurzem in mehrere Einheiten umstrukturiert und hat ihre Bettenanzahl aufgestockt. So verf\u00fcgt sie derzeit \u00fcber 410 Betten, darunter 14 Intensivbetten, und ist mit Hightech-Ausr\u00fcstung ausgestattet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend der Prozess zur Erlangung des ACI – Accreditation Canada International -Status noch im Gange war, erkannte das Krankenhaus die Notwendigkeit eines Qualit\u00e4tssystems zum Erhalt belastbarer Daten und damit zur Verbesserung des Prozesses der Verwaltung und Analyse der klinischen Indikatoren seiner Intensivstation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u00f6sung<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Erfordernis, die Indikatoren schneller und exakter zu erhalten, veranlasste das CHU Ambroise Par\u00e9 zur Teilnahme am Projekt MICA – Monitoring Intensive Care Activities, das 2017 in ganz Belgien anlief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Zuge dessen hat die Klinik das Epimed Monitor ICU System zur Verwaltung und Analyse der klinischen Kennzahlen und Leistungsindikatoren eingef\u00fchrt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Um die Datenerfassung zu erleichtern, wurde das Epimed Monitor System in die ITS-Systeme des Krankenhauses integriert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ergebnisse<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Einsatz des Epimed Monitor ICU-Systems hat es erm\u00f6glicht, klinische Kennzahlen und Leistungsindikatoren genauer zu \u00fcberwachen und eine bessere Einhaltung der besten Praktiken zusammen mit den bestehenden Protokollen zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das durch das System gebotene Benchmarking erlaubt es der CHU Ambroise Par\u00e9 nun, sich mit anderen Intensivstationen in Belgien zu vergleichen. Nach der Analyse des SAPS 3-Scores kam die CHU Ambroise Par\u00e9 zu dem Schluss, dass sie im Vergleich zu anderen Intensivstationen sehr gut dasteht in Bezug auf den Schweregrad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
